Security

Just as in previous years, we continue to invest in enhancing the visitor's comfort and safety.

MINIMUM AGE

In order to attend the event, visitors should be at least 16 years old. This will be checked.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Public transport is a safe and smooth way to come to ILoveTECHNO

Before leaving, please check www.b-rail.be for the latest train time tables. Between 5PM and 8AM ILoveTECHNO provides a free of charge, quick and continuous tram service, going back and forth between the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station and Flanders Expo.

BE EARLY

Don't forget there will be queus & waiting periods. Doors open at 18h45. Make sure you reach the venue sufficiently early: you don't want to miss your favorite act!

SECURITY

A team of security people is in charge of guaranteeing your safety during the event. In order to let the event pass as smoothly as possible, we advise all visitors to follow strictly any instructions given by the security staff or host(esse)s. The security staff's decisions are always final, in any situation.

ENTRANCE

Keep your ticket ready when arriving at the entrance. The security staff is entitled to deny access to the event holding a forged ticket. Visitors with forged tickets will be handed over to the police immediately. Don't give forgers a chance and buy your ticket at the official presale adresses only.

PROHIBITED

Sharp objects, dogs, glass, cans, bottles, professional A/V material (audio/video), cameras with a zoom lens bigger than 38mm, pocket and other knives, drinking cups, drugs, guns or other dangerous objects. The security staff can deny access to the event to anyone carrying any of these prohibited items and dangerous objects, even if this person is in possession of a valid ticket.

BODY SEARCH/ID CHECKS

ILoveTECHNO wants to offer its visitors a safe event. Therefore, there will be a comprehensive ID check and body search before entering the actual festival zone.

ZERO TOLERANCE AGAINST DRUGS

Say no to drugs! ILoveTECHNO is a high quality music event. So get high on the music!
Allow yourself to be swept away by the best artists and DJs, and leave any drugs at home!
We should inform you that both the police force & the office of the public prosecutor will pursue a "zero tolerance" policy regarding drugs. Any visitors carrying drugs will be pulled in by the police force and automatically handed over to the office of the public prosecutor.

PARTYWISE

Dancing for a long time heats up your body. Take a break from time to time and chill out. Alcohol, energy drinks and drugs dehydrate your body. Switch to water or sport drinks every now and then to protect you from dehydration. Keep in touch with friends and watch your mobile. Having problems? Panic is a bad advisor. Listen to your body. Tell your friends you're not feeling well. Ask for help or visit First Aid. Do not combine several drugs. Overdoses are often the result of drug combinations. Let the DJs do the mixes..
Partying is heavy stuff. Take a good rest before you visit ILoveTECHNO. Don't forget to eat. No energy = no party. Check www.partywise.be for more info to optimize your ILoveTECHNO.

RED CROSS / FIRST AID

Teams of the Red Cross and the Gent MUG team will be continuously present at the event. This extensive medical unit is available to any visitor who might become unwell or think he/she needs medical care. Check the line-up flyer that will be distributed the night of the event to find out where the Red Cross and the MUG team are located at the venue.

FREE WATER

Just like last year, free water is available to all party people. Check the line-up flyer that will be distributed the night of the event to find out where the water stands are located at the venue.

CAPACITY OF THE 5 ROOMS

Each room can hold 5,000 visitors. Once this limit has been reached, the doors will be closed and people will only be able to get out, not in. This means that not all visitors can come and watch one and the same artist at the same time. Please note that some of the headliners are broadcasted live in the RedBull Elektropedia Room Video Room.

REDBULL ELEKTROPEDIA VIDEO ROOM

Just like the previous years, we have the RedBull Elektropedia Room Video Room. It's a big round area in the centre of the venue with video screens all around and a complete light & sound installation comparable with the ones in the 5 other rooms. In this room, the sets of some acts, performing in one of the 5 rooms, will be broadcasted.

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE

If you want to go crazy, come to the event by public transport or look for a place to stay in Gent. For all information on where to stay in Gent, check www.gent.be
We recommend looking for a hotel near the Gent-Sint-Pieters railway station. We assure a regular and continuous shuttle tram to Flanders Expo, leaving at the railway Station.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Please check out rules & regulations (English, French & Dutch) before you enter the event.
