Speedy J aka Jochem Paap is the Dutch maverick known for classic albums such as ‘G Spot’, ‘A Shocking Hobby’ and ‘Loudboxer’ on Warp, Plus 8 and Novamute. But also unforgettable club anthems like ‘Pullover’, ‘Something For Your Mind’ and ‘Pannik’ are from his hand. After doing the Collabs project together with amongst others Chris Liebing, recently he started a new label called Electric Deluxe. A platform for artists, operating within any conceivable genre in the broad spectrum of techno, who wish to fully explore and embrace the ever-expanding technological possibilities.
